Business Philosophy

At VSC, we believe that the right direction matters more than the end goal. That’s why we choose to grow by creating sustainable value for consumers through quality food. Our business is driven by a core commitment to innovation and a deep understanding of consumer needs.

Farms to Innovation

For us, “cultivate” means more than just planting a seed in the soil — it’s about planting the seeds of hope for a better Thailand through sustainable agriculture. This commitment comes to life in the “Healthy Greens Project”, a collaboration with Siam Forestry, a company under SCGP, featuring the following key initiatives:

  • Development and Selection of Thai Amaranth Varieties Adapted to Local Climate.

  • We have focused our research and development efforts on creating distinct Thai amaranth strains with key traits such as heat resistance, rapid growth, and the ability to be harvested multiple times per year. These characteristics are specifically tailored to Thailand’s increasingly hot climate, ensuring year-round cultivation and productivity — even under changing environmental conditions caused by global warming.

  • Current Trial of Strain AS022 with Academic Partnership.

  • Strain AS022 is currently being tested in collaboration with the Tropical Vegetable Research and Development Center, Department of Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture, Kamphaeng Saen. Alongside two additional commercial strains, the trials aim to identify the most suitable variety for large-scale farming and industrial expansion. Final selection is scheduled for completion by Q4 of 2025.
